Tim J. Mitchell, J.D.

Mr. Tim Mitchell functions in multiple capacities for Sentry Logistic Solutions: president, chief financial officer and legal counsel. He is a proven entrepreneur and business leader with more than 25 years of expertise in financial planning and management, investment strategy and business development. His professional accomplishments include a documented track record of helping both new ventures and established organizations attain and maintain profitability. In his roles at Sentry, Mr. Mitchell is responsible for setting financial strategies and goals, ensuring compliant accounting practices, administering the company’s fiscal controls and managing its assets. As the company’s legal counsel, he also provides valuable strategic guidance in areas such as debt restructuring and real estate acquisition and financing.
In addition to his positions with Sentry, Mr. Mitchell also serves as the president and founder of First Capital Investment Group, Inc., an investment firm specializing in asset classes including industrial warehousing. In this role, he identifies investment opportunities, directs business development initiatives and manages the company’s operations. Under his direction, First Capital has attained assets of more than $120 million.
Mr. Mitchell received a J.D. cum laude and a B.A. degree in political science with honors from Indiana University. He is also a licensed Indiana real estate broker and serves on various boards for organizations that include the United Commerce Bank, Bloomington Economic Development Corporation and Bender Lumber Company, Inc. Other professional memberships include the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors, Indiana State Bar Association and American Bar Association.
