With 20 years of global industry management experience, Ms. Melanie Hart brings a wide array of strategic business knowledge to Sentry Logistic Solutions’ advisory board. She is a seasoned entrepreneur who provides guidance on business development strategies and long-term financial growth objectives. Ms. Hart’s expertise in international executive management helps position Sentry to succeed in an increasingly competitive global market.
Currently, Ms. Hart is chief executive officer of Tsuchiya North America as well as president of its four subsidiary companies: TASUS Corporation, in Bloomington, Indiana; TASUS Texas Corporation in Georgetown, Texas; Craft Originators, Inc. in Hamilton, Ontario; and Craft Originators De Mexico in Mexico City. These companies manufacture and assemble plastic molded products and printed graphics for the automotive, industrial and appliance markets. As Tsuchiya North America’s CEO, she identifies business and revenue goals; defines enterprise-wide marketing and sales objectives; and manages industry operations. In her role as president for all four subsidiaries, she establishes business and financial strategies, develops growth formulas and offers guidance to facilitate long-term profitability and success.
Ms. Hart received a B.S. degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University. She also served as a delegate for the State of Indiana to the 1995 White House Conference on Small Business. Her professional affiliations, memberships and board positions include the American Heart Walk; Japan America Society of Indiana; Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce; Bloomington POPS Orchestra; Old National Bank; Bloomington Community Foundation; Young President’s Association; and Bloomington Economic Development Corporation.
