Mr. Bryan Hudson, Sentry’s manager of quality assurance and information technology (IT), is a functional expert who brings to the company more than 10 years of experience developing, maintaining and enforcing pharmaceutical quality procedures and standards. He is responsible for making sure that all of Sentry’s operational processes and technology systems uphold the company’s commitment to industry compliance, unparalleled quality and exceptional service delivery. In this capacity, Mr. Hudson ensures the long-term stability and integrity of client’s stored compounds and products by exercising his vast knowledge of FDA regulations and guidelines, pharmaceutical quality assurance and validation processes, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). As the company’s IT manager, Mr. Hudson is accountable for meeting FDA Title 21 CFR Part 11 regulatory compliance through the reliability, accessibility, accuracy and security of Sentry’s cold chain shipping, tracking, data management and inventory management systems.
Prior to joining Sentry, Mr. Hudson held several leadership positions with Baxter Pharmaceutical Solutions, where he most recently served as quality control analytical lab manager. In this role, he directed quality control testing operations and oversaw 50 associates in four analytical laboratory areas. Mr. Hudson supervised an elaborate stability program that tested long-term storage conditions of several pharmaceutical products. This led him to spearhead an evaluation and implementation team for a software laboratory information management system (LIMS) for bar-coding and automatically tracking sample stability. Mr. Hudson also worked with Baxter’s IT department, where he developed the company’s first software validation program to comply with FDA Title 21 CFR Part 11 regulations. In addition, he gained expertise with Microsoft Windows servers and computer networking and enterprise software systems.
Mr. Hudson graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. degree in biochemistry and has completed master-level coursework in informatics at Indiana University-Purdue University (IUPUI). To further his professional development, he regularly attends industry conferences on quality assurance, quality control, software validation, software administration, management, leadership and communications.
